When Life Shifts, Do You Know Where to Turn?

An estimated $140 billion in federal benefits goes unclaimed each year in the US, leaving vulnerable populations without support they’re entitled to. For example, many seniors and low-income families don’t realize they qualify for programs like food assistance, utility relief, or tax credits.

SafetyNet Navigator – Benefits & Relief Eligibility Finder

What We’re Testing

Find Every Dollar of Help You Deserve—Fast.

In the U.S. up to $140 billion in public benefits—food aid, rental relief, tax credits—goes unclaimed each year.¹ Eligibility rules change by ZIP code; forms ask for the same data five different times; families miss recertification letters and suddenly lose health coverage. Social-service offices are overwhelmed, and most “aggregator” websites just list phone numbers.

SafetyNet Navigator is a single intake that checks SNAP, Medicaid, LIHEAP, and local grants in one pass, auto-fills the right forms, and reminds you before benefits expire—so vulnerable households keep food on the table and roofs overhead without drowning in paperwork.

Hypothesis: Municipalities and foundations will fund a $5,000 pilot when they see Navigator increase completed benefit applications by at least 25 % in three months.

This Experiment

• Launch beta covering 10 major programs in one county.

• Assist three families manually; measure app-completion lift.

• Pass if county or grantor signs $5,000 Letter-of-Intent to fund a full rollout.
